Talent Jar

Each month, we have “jars” that are designated for a special cause.  People are encouraged to put in some loose change, as they return from communion.  The money collected for the month goes towards that month’s designation, which are:

      January: NW PA Synod Special Ministries

      February:  Christ Lutheran Youth Group

      March:  ELCA World Hunger Appeal/Disaster Relief

      April:  Rev. Gerald Samuel Memorial at Trinity Seminary

      May:  Gettysburg Seminary

      June:  Rev. Adam Simon Scholarship Fund at Thiel College

      July:  Lutheran Social services (NW PA Synod)

      August:  VBS Mission Project

      September:  Prince of Peace Center in Farrell

      October:  Lutheran World Relief

      November:  Rev. Milo Gerberding Scholarship Fund at Thiel College

      December:  Pastor’s Discretionary Fund
