Ministry to the Homebound
As an extension of our Sunday worship, our home bound and nursing home residents receive communion on a regular basis from trained Eucharistic Ministers. We also have a weekly hospital visitor.
Health / Social Ministry
Raising awareness of social issues, such as, world hunger, domestic violence, health education, and health care needs. Our Health Ministry Task Force offers blood pressure screening between services on the first Sunday of the month. An AED (automated external defibrillator) has been purchased and several volunteers have been trained.
Community Outreach
Christ Lutheran Church has a history of reaching out to the community. The pastor is always a member of the Meals on Wheels board of directors, and we make our educational wing available as a polling location for the immediate community. Narcotics Anonymous and the Celiac Support Group use our facilities for meetings. The second floor of the Education Building is home to St. Stephens Lutheran Academy North.

Harvest Hunger Walk
This annual effort begins at Christ Lutheran Church on the first Sunday in October. Of course the walk takes place in the afternoon after church services. Donations support local and national food banks, including the Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County.
Assistance through 2-1-1
