A Season of Resurrection, Hope, and New Life

Easter is the joyful celebration of Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead. The Easter season begins on Easter Sunday and continues for 50 days, leading to the celebration of the Ascension of Our Lord.

During Easter, we celebrate the heart of the Christian faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, and Christ will come again.

What Do We Celebrate During Easter?

Christ Is Risen — Jesus conquered sin and death and rose from the grave.

New Life — Through Christ, we are given the promise of forgiveness and new life.

Hope — Because Christ lives, death does not have the final word.

Joy — Easter is a season of celebration as we rejoice in God's victory through Jesus.

A Season of New Life

Easter reminds us that the story does not end at the cross. The tomb is empty, Christ is alive, and God's promises are true.

The Easter season invites us to live each day in the hope and joy of the resurrection.

Christ has died.

Christ will come again.
