Holy Week & The Three Days

Remembering Christ's Passion, Death, and Resurrection

Holy Week is the final week of Lent and leads us into the celebration of Easter. At the heart of Holy Week are The Three Days, also called the Triduum: Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday.

These worship services are connected as one journey. We walk with Jesus from the table, to the cross, and finally to the empty tomb.

The Three Days

Maundy Thursday — Love and Service
We remember Jesus' Last Supper with His disciples and His command to love and serve one another. We gather around God's Word and the Lord's Supper.

Good Friday — The Cross
We remember Jesus' suffering and death on the cross. In the cross, we see the depth of God's love and Christ's sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins.

Holy Saturday — Waiting and Hope
The church waits in silence and hope. Jesus has died, and we wait for the celebration of His resurrection.

A Journey Through the Cross

Holy Week invites us to slow down and enter more deeply into the story at the center of our faith.

We gather at the table.
We stand beneath the cross.
We wait in hope.
And we prepare to celebrate the empty tomb.

Christ has died.
Christ is risen.
Christ will come again.

May our journey through Holy Week remind us of the depth of Christ's love and the promise of new life we have through Him. ✝️
