A Season of Light, Revelation, and Mission

Epiphany begins with the celebration of the Epiphany of Our Lord, traditionally observed on January 6. The word Epiphany means “revealing” or “making known.”

During this season, we celebrate the ways Jesus is revealed as the Son of God and Savior of the world. We remember that Christ's light is not meant for only a few—it shines for all people.

What Do We Celebrate During Epiphany?

Christ Is Revealed — Jesus is made known as God's Son and our Savior.

The Light of Christ — Jesus brings God's light into a world that needs hope and peace.

God's Love for All People — The good news of Jesus is for people of every nation and every background.

Called to Share — As followers of Christ, we are called to let His light shine through our words and actions.

Epiphany reminds us that Jesus came not only for us to know about, but for us to know and follow.
